Feeling real proud about our first game jam submission! This little project is a labor of love by me and my good pal Royal Carnation. Our given theme was "a strange dungeon," and we figured what could be stranger than peeking behind the curtain at who gets all those dungeons ready for heroes to crash through in the first place? In our game, you play as a goblin tasked with putting all of the coins back into the vases in between heroes' journeys through the dungeon.

Royal created the level designs and all of the art assets, and I duct taped it all together into a video game in Unity. It's not a perfect build, but we're happy that we finished in the two-week time limit nonetheless. If we come back to this project for additional polish, we'd like to add sounds, more puzzles, and perhaps some more dynamic effects like lighting. But for now, this'll do. :)

Delightfully clever puzzles, a unique mechanic, and an adorable art style!

Very well done!

Super fun!

OH because the bag is empty now! Way too cute, deceptively simple, I like how much they enjoy floating up when their bag is empty too. Good premise as long as the hero doesn't come across them, nice work!

This is so cute! I love the character art and the puzzles are really clever! This seems like a huge success for your first game jam! I hope you and Austin make more games together!

yay i beat it! the puzzles were clever and i love the floating goblin sprite

Cute! And quite easy to learn to play! I enjoyed the premise, and the mechanics were super smooth

Amusing take on how dungeons get reset between attempts.

My favorite part was the puzzle design! Big fan of simple mechanics like this for game jams. The last level's throwing puzzle was a great culmination of the mechanics we'd previously learned.

There were a few buggy parts, mostly clipping/hit detection, but the instant reset button was a good workaround.

Well done!

Just beat the game!!! Super fun! :) I forgot to read all of the first screen but it was fun trying to figure out how to float! I liked the puzzles and it was super cool figuring out how best to use the coins and when to use them- I especially liked the puzzles that requiring timing the throws. Very cure style also! :D
